Your Health Spending Account (HSA) allows for reimbursement of eligible expenses not covered under your Extended Health Care and Dental Care plans, including, but not limited to:

• Eligible medical and dental expenses not paid by the provincial medical plan, your benefits plan or your spouse's plan;
• Your share of prescription drug expenses not paid through the benefits program;
• Deductibles and coinsurance levels you are required to pay under your spouse's plan or your benefits plan;
• Expenses that exceed benefits plan maximums;
• Orthodontic expenses not covered by the benefits plan; and
• Vision care expenses not covered by the benefits plan.

Unused Health Spending Account (HSA) credits at the end of the year are carried forward once to the next benefit year. Credits that remain unused after two benefit years are forfeited.
