Five Enrollment Fundamentals

Check your email. Look for a New Hire Benefits Enrollment Notification email from the benefits administrator indicating that you can make your enrollment elections online.
Enroll within 30 days. You have 30 days from your date of hire to enroll in certain coverages like medical, dental and vision coverage and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).
Know who you can cover and how. Be sure to review Eligibility Rules for enrolling dependents and what you need to do to ensure their coverage.
