S&P Global knows how important it is to take care of yourself. To help you live your healthiest lifestyle – mind, body and spirit – S&P Global will reimburse you 100% for eligible expenses, up to your country maximum. Wellbeing Program: TELUS Health

Designed to help resolve life issues that may affect health, family life, or work life, TELUS Health provides free and confidential expert guidance, practical work-life services, and assessment/referral services to team members and their family members. Reproductive Wellness

S&P Global has made reproductive health an integral part of our people rewards package. Some of the Reproductive Wellness programs and benefits we offer to our people include:

  • Maven Parental Support to improve parental health outcomes through equitable care for pregnant members and their partners.
  • Maven Expressed Milk Shipping to help our parents transition back to work and get expressed milk home to baby—easily, reliably, and safely.

Global Cancer Support Program

As a team member with cancer or other chronic disease and serious illness, the Global Cancer* Support Program may provide up to one year of salary protection while you are out on leave due to treatment or recovery from your health condition. To begin the process of determining your eligibility for payments, complete the Program Request Form and submit it to mySolutions.

Global Employee Referral Program: Bring Your Best

Under the Global Employee Referral Program, if you refer a candidate who is subsequently hired as a permanent, full- or part-time S&P Global team member, you will be eligible to receive an incentive award, subject to any local statutory deductions.

Global Education Support

Under the Global Education Support Policy, S&P Global provides Further Education Support and Matching Student Loan Support. 

  • Further Education Support: 
    Subject to course of study, S&P Global will reimburse previously-approved tuition, registration/program fees and course-related books up to the country-specific amount.
  • Matching Student Loan Support: 
    S&P Global will match the amount you have been reimbursed for further education with an equal amount for a current student loan. The sum of both amounts cannot exceed the country-specific annual maximum.

Matching Gifts

The S&P Global Matching Gifts Program provides the opportunity to help maximize the impact of employee charitable giving through corporate matched donations.

You can donate to eligible charities of their choice through CRConnect using a personal credit card and request S&P match your personal contributions, up to a maximum annual amount. You can also donate directly to your charity of choice and request a match for their offline donations by uploading a receipt of contribution. People in some locations can donate to eligible charities by enrolling in payroll deductions.

Holidays

Recharge

Recharge is S&P Global’s flexible time-off approach under which there is no prescribed maximum amount of time off you can take. We believe it’s important to take time away from the office for your hobbies, loved ones, personal responsibilities and wellbeing.

By spending time away from the office and managing this important aspect of your wellbeing, you’re well-positioned to do your best work. Recharge days can be used for any number of reasons, such as to:

  • Travel or explore attractions and activities
  • Celebrate a birthday or career service anniversary
  • Attend a child’s school activities
  • Visit a wellness provider
  • Take a well-being day

Global Care Leave

Our colleagues may take up to 10 days of paid leave per calendar year to care for a close relative or loved one who has a serious illness or health condition. This paid care leave may be offset by any statutory leave that is already in place and is a minimum amount of leave per country.

Give Back Days

You are entitled to five days of paid leave per calendar year to spend volunteering in your community.

Flexible Work Arrangements

S&P Global offers flexible work arrangements that provide practical solutions to help our employees balance their many commitments.

Sabbatical Leave

You are eligible to take six months of unpaid sabbatical leave. This time may be used to educate, innovate, gain knowledge and pursue interests.

Unpaid Leave

You can take up to eight weeks of unpaid leave OR the current statutory minimum by country, whichever is higher, without exhausting any other paid leave entitlements.

Compassion Leave

You are entitled to paid compassion leave following the loss of a close relative or loved one. The number of leaves will be determined depending on the relationship to the deceased. For details, please see the Global Compassion Leave Policy.

Parental Leave

To further support parents, our enhanced parental leave offers 26 weeks of paid leave or the current statutory minimum by country, whichever is higher, to all parents, regardless of gender, who welcome a child through birth, adoption, foster, or surrogacy. Business Travel Insurance

Insurance while travelling on business or working remotely in another country. Coverage includes health, accidental death and total permanent disablement, medical expenses, theft, trip disruption and cancellation, loss of money and personal belongings, and more.

Phased Retirement

To facilitate knowledge transfer, people who are planning their retirement have the option to customize the transition for up to 5 years, by reducing hours and salary while retaining certain benefits (subject to country-specific benefit plans and minimum working hours).

Core

Health & Wellbeing

  • Private medical arrangement: All team members are eligible to receive single cover company-funded private medical coverage through the S&P Global Healthcare Trust administered by Bupa. Benefit In Kind (BIK) tax is due on the premium amount, processed via Payroll monthly.
  • Health assessment: S&P Global team members are eligible for a company-funded health assessment with Nuffield Health once every 12 months.
  • Eye care vouchers: S&P Global will cover costs associated with optical tests, once every 12 months, and contribute up to £55 towards basic lenses for VDU use.
  • Virtual General Practitioner (GP): All S&P team members are given access to a virtual GP 24/7, accessed through Bupa and if your dependents are covered through the Bupa medical trust, they also will have access to this service.

Family Friendly

  • Emergency child/eldercare: S&P Global provides up to 15 emergency care sessions per year through My Family Care (Bright Horizons). In the event of unforeseen circumstances, emergencies or your usual care is not available, we offer a comprehensive benefit to support you by providing backup care sessions for childcare, eldercare, and pet care during working hours. Permanent team members are eligible for this benefit.

Finance & Security

  • Group DC pension, employer funding up to 10% (see the Pension Matrix below)
  • Group life assurance: All S&P Global team members are covered under the Group Life Assurance Scheme through Aviva. S&P Global provides cover of 4x Base Salary.
  • Group income protection: S&P Global protects 50% of your annual basic salary if you’re unable to work because of long-term illness or injury (subject to claim approval via our insurer L&G).
  • Financial advice: S&P Global partners with Helm Godfrey to offer our colleagues Financial Advice through financial coaching and planning to help them understand and best meet their short-term and long-term financial goals.

Voluntary

Health & Wellbeing

  • Private medical arrangement partner and/or dependent cover: S&P Global has extended the policy to allow team members to have the option to enrol spouse/partner and any dependent children (aged under 24 and unmarried) onto your medical policy.
  • Health assessment additional levels / add partner: In addition to the company-funded assessment, a team member can choose to upgrade their health assessment and/or select a health assessment for their partner/spouse as a voluntary benefit.
  • Cancer screening: S&P Global has partnered with Check4Caner to provide a number of checks.
  • Dental insurance: Unum Dental provides our team members with dental insurance at various levels as a voluntary benefit. The plan offers reimbursement towards the cost of minor and major dental care such as check-ups, hygienist visits, fillings, crowns, and even dental implants.
  • Healthcare cash plan: Health Shield provides a voluntary benefit that can assist team members with payments towards routine healthcare costs, some of which private medical policies do not cover such as routine dental and optical costs.

Lifestyle

  • Cycle 2 Work: With Cycle to Work, you can purchase a bicycle, and associated equipment, to commute to/from work. The cost of the bike and any associated equipment (up to £5,000 in value) can be spread over 12 months through an approved HMRC salary sacrifice scheme.
  • Personal travel insurance: Our team members and their families can take out travel Insurance, as a voluntary benefit, to provide them with peace of mind to enjoy their trip. The insurance plan covers problems associated with traveling including trip cancellation due to illness, lost luggage, and other incidents. The coverage is provided through Crispin Speers and Partners (CSP).
  • Salary Sacrifice Car Scheme: This scheme provides our team members with greater flexibility and convenience in acquiring a vehicle. Through a partnership with a trusted vendor, SG Fleet, who will offer personal contract hire agreements that cater to your individual needs, ensuring direct contact with the vendor for a seamless experience. The deduction will be processed via salary sacrifice.
  • Technology purchase benefit: S&P Global has partnered with an external provider to allow our colleagues to be able to purchase a variety of technology goods (up to £2,500 maximum) for their home and personal use and spread the cost over 12 months via payroll deductions.
  • Gadget insurance: Crispin Speers provides our team members a voluntary option to purchase worldwide coverage, meaning your gadgets are insured wherever you happen to be. This benefit gives you the option to insure your gadgets in one place.
  • Discounted gym memberships: S&P Global has partnered with the GymFlex network to provide a health facility that’s right for you – and at a discounted rate and paid for through salary deductions.
  • Tastecard+: Allows team members to have access to discounts across hundreds of restaurants in the UK and Ireland. The cost of the membership is deducted from the monthly net salary and colleagues can join throughout the year.

Finance & Security

  • Additional Group Life Assurance (GLA) and/or partner cover: An additional level of coverage can be provided as a voluntary benefit, and any cost will be deducted from your monthly pay to purchase life assurance for your spouse or partner.
  • Additional Group Income Protection (GIP): You also have the option to increase your coverage by a further 10 -20% through salary deduction.
  • Critical illness cover + partner cover: S&P Global team members can choose a cover that would provide a lump sum payment if they or their partner were diagnosed with a qualifying illness.
  • Personal accident cover, self, partner, dependents, family: S&P Global offers voluntary insurance for their team members and family to support financially if there is an accident or injury. The insurance plan provides a payment, depending on the level of cover elected if you experience one of the qualifying events.
  • Bonus sacrifice to pension: S&P Global offers our colleagues the option to sacrifice all or some of their bonus directly into their pension investment, the employer’s national insurance savings are also paid across.
  • ISA (Individual Savings Account): S&P Global has partnered with Cushion to allow team members to easily set up a net deduction that will be paid directly into their chosen investment/saving plan.
  • Season ticket loan: All team members are entitled to apply for an annual interest-free season ticket loan subject to terms and conditions.

Pension

All S&P Global team members will fund their retirement in a Group Personal Pension Plan (GPP) with Aviva.
