All employees will receive a base credit amount of $1,000 annually. In addition to the base credit you will receive further credit based on your Health and Dental coverage elections, as outlined below:

*You can decline coverage ONLY if you are covered under your spouse’s plan with their respective employer.
Example #1: Gold Health and Dental
Base ($1,000) + Health ($100) + Dental ($100) = $1,200 total credits
Example #2: Bronze Health and Silver Dental
Base ($1,000) + Health ($500) + Dental ($200) = $1,700 total credits
The maximum amount of credits you can receive is $2,500.

Allocating your Flex Credits
Once you have made your Health and Dental elections you will have a flex credit balance where you can allocate to have the monies deposited in:
- Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)*
- Tax Free Savings Account TFSA)
- Non-Registered Savings
- Health Care Spending Account (HCSA)
