Benefits Administration/Enrollment
- Sun Life AdminPlus is the benefits administrator.
- The Sun Life AdminPlus system is used to:
- Capture your elections during new hire enrollment, life events and annual open enrollment.
- Obtain your benefit cards, submit claims and view your coverage and balances once enrolled in the benefit program.
Health/Vision and Dental
- Sun Life policy number: 150989
- There are three plan options and coverage levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Health/Vision & Dental Premiums
S&P Global covers the majority of the costs associated with your health/vision and dental coverage. A modest premium payment is required for the Gold Health and Dental plans.Silver and Bronze plans are 100% company-paid.
- For the Gold Health and Gold Dental plans, the cost is:
- Single coverage - $7.50 per pay period plus provincial sales tax (where applicable)
- Family coverage - $18.75 per pay period plus provincial sales tax (where applicable)
- Bronze and Silver plans 100% paid by the company

Flex Credits:
You will have the option to allocate flex credits from the health and dental plans to:
- HSA (Health Spending Account)
- RRSP (Registered Retirement Savings Plan)
- TFSA (Tax Free Savings Account)
- NREG (Non-Registered Savings)
Insurances - Core and Optional Benefits
S&P Global provides basic life insurance and basic AD&D (Accidental Death and Dismemberment) insurance for employees at 2 times your base salary.
During the new hire enrollment period, Sun Life will eliminate the proof-of-health requirement for Optional Critical Illness for both employees and their spouses. This change applies to coverage up to a specified limit, as detailed below:
- Employee Optional Critical Illness: $50,000 in coverage.
- Spousal Optional Critical Illness: $20,000 in coverage.
Premiums are based on age, gender and smoker/non-smoker.
Retirement Plan
- Sun Life is the Retirement Plan provider.
- You will be auto-enrolled in the Defined Contribution Pension Plan at a 2% contribution and a 3% employer match.
