Salary Bands

Salary bands are used to determine your medical plan contributions and out-of-pocket maximum for the Standard POS II Plan. In 2025, salary bands are:

  • < $65,000
  • $65,000 - $84,999
  • $85,000 - $129,999
  • $130,000 - $199,999
  • ≥ $200,000

Higher HSA Contribution Limits

When you elect the Core HSA or Standard HSA Medical Plan, S&P Global contributes to your Health Savings Account (HSA) - and you can too. Under IRS rules, the maximum combined amount (from you and the Company) that can be made to your HSA in 2025 is:

  • Employee only coverage level is: $4,300.
  • All other family coverage levels: $8,550.
  • If you're age 55 or older, you can make additional catch-up contributions of $1,000.

PrudentRx Copay Program

Your Aetna Medical Plan is collaborating with PrudentRx to offer a program that may be able to save you money. Participating members have $0 out-of-pocket costs for covered specialty medication(s). Please note HSA plans require the deductible to be met.

"Smart Logic" Prescription Pre-Authorization

Pre-authorization of certain prescriptions is critical to keeping our medical plan pharmacy benefits affordable. CVS/caremark uses its "smart logic" process to streamline prescription pre-authorizations required under the medical plans. This smart logic pre-authorization process makes getting your prescription coverage approved more easily and more quickly – minimizing delays in getting your prescriptions filled.

Coverage of Dental Implants

Dental implants are covered as major restorative care under the Dental Plans. The Dental PPO plan pays 60% of the covered costs for dental implants after you have met the deductible. The Dental DMO plan pays 60% of the covered costs for dental implants when services are directed by your primary care dentist. Some limits do apply; please review the Dental SPD for more details.

Virtual Visits for Menopause Support

Medical plan participants have access to virtual menopause care through two programs offered by Aetna.

  • Gennev is one of the nation's largest virtual menopause clinics led by board-certified OB/GYNs and Registered Dietitian Nutritionists. Gennev providers are available for telehealth appointments for patients in all 50 U.S. states.
  • Midi offers virtual visits with a dedicated clinician who will help you create a personalized care plan and unlimited follow-up visits. Midi is available in several U.S. states.

Enhanced Coverage of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy

Physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy have a combined limit of 120 visits per year under the medical plans.

Commuter Benefit

You can save money on commuting costs by using pre-tax dollars to pay for mass transit and parking expenses. You may deduct on a pre-tax basis up to the IRS maximum – which, for 2025, is $325 per month for qualified parking and mass transit commuting expenses.

Also, we’re excited to introduce the Commuter Digital Wallet through Alight Smart-Choice. Your Commuter Benefits card can now be used with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.

If you are a new employee, check your email for the New Hire Benefits Enrollment Notification email. Review eligibility rules to know whom you can cover, and enroll for coverage within 30 days from your date of hire.
